As part of this project, the European Association of Pharmacy Technicians (EAPT) organised an online international workshop entitled “PharmTech Mobility: Enhancing European Pharmacy Technician Exchange and Mobility”, held on 02 October 2025.
The workshop gathered partners, professionals, and students from different European countries to discuss opportunities, challenges, and best practices related to Pharmacy Technician exchange and mobility across Europe. Moderated by João Joaquim (ESTESC-IPC) and Cristiano Matos (EAPT), the session featured contributions from Stephanie Mot (Erasmushogeschool Brussel / AFTAB, Belgium), Fernando Mendes (ACSS, Portugal), and Lina Castro (Sykehusapotek Nord HF, Norway).
Over the course of the workshop, the speakers addressed themes such as how mobility initiatives can foster collaboration, support professional development, and contribute to building a common European framework for Pharmacy Technicians. The event served as a valuable platform for sharing experiences and perspectives, while reinforcing the importance of cross-border cooperation in strengthening the role and recognition of Pharmacy Technicians.
This activity represented an important milestone within the Erasmus+ project, contributing to the definition of strategies for professional mobility and exchange, and supporting the broader objective of strengthening education, training, and career opportunities for Pharmacy Technicians in Europe."
