Tres Olivos School (Dales La Palabra Foundation) took part in the 2025 edition of INFARMA, the European Congress of Pharmacy and Trade Fair for Medicines and Parapharmacy, presenting a poster titled “The Role of the Pharmacy Technician in Europe.”
This participation is part of the Erasmus+ project 2024-1-IE01-KA210-VET-000245362, a European initiative aimed at comparing Pharmacy Technician training programs across different countries and promoting professional mobility within the sector.
The poster presented by the Tres Olivos team highlights the project's initial findings, developed in collaboration with the Technological University Dublin (Ireland) and the European Association of Pharmacy Technicians (EAPT) (Belgium). It analyzes the current role of Pharmacy Technicians in Spain, Ireland, and Belgium, emphasizing similarities, differences, and opportunities for improvement in the training and recognition of this key healthcare profession.
Participation in INFARMA provided a valuable opportunity for the project team to present their joint work, share insights with professionals from the pharmaceutical field, and contribute meaningfully to the ongoing European dialogue on the future of the Pharmacy Technician profession.
The team remains committed to building a shared European framework that supports the recognition, mobility, and professional development of Pharmacy Technicians across Europe.
