On 18 -19 October 2025, the PharmTech Mobility project was proudly represented at the XVIII National Congress of the Associação Portuguesa de Licenciados em Farmácia, held at Aveiro-Expo, under the theme 'Medicine Safety.” Cristiano Matos, João, Ângelo, and Carolina Valeiro attended the congress on behalf of the consortium.
During the event, Carolina Valeiro presented a poster entitled “Towards Harmonisation: Mapping Pharmacy Technician Roles and Skills Across European EQF Levels.” The poster showcased the project’s core mission: to develop a shared European framework for pharmacy technician education, aligning curricula, competencies, and qualifications across EQF levels to support cross-border mobility and professional recognition, while reinforcing medicine safety.
The poster highlighted key similarities and differences in education and training pathways across Europe, identifying gaps and opportunities for harmonisation that can strengthen workforce mobility and ensure consistent professional standards.
🏅 Honourable Mention
We are delighted to announce that the poster received an Honourable Mention at the congress, recognising the relevance and impact of the PharmTech Mobility project in advancing pharmacy technician education and contributing to safer use of medicines across Europe
