PharmTech Mobility is a collaborative Erasmus+ project uniting educational institutions and professional associations from Ireland, Spain, Belgium and Portugal. Our shared aim is to enhance the quality, recognition, and mobility of pharmacy technician education across Europe.
The PharmTech Mobility Project aims to enhance the education and mobility of pharmacy technicians across Europe by developing a standardised, competency-based educational framework. Through international collaboration, the project seeks to identify best practices, harmonise training standards, and support professional growth and mobility among pharmacy technicians in the EU.
To comprehensively understand the current landscape of pharmacy technician education and training across the three EU countries involved in the project, through research and stakeholder consultation.
To identify core competencies, best practices, and challenges to harmonisation through inter-regional cooperation.
To establish a common educational framework for pharmacy technician training and contribute to the standardisation of education through the European Academic Network (EAPT).
To support mobility and enhance professional opportunities for pharmacy technicians across Europe.
Harmonise pharmacy technician education across the three participating countries.
