The PharmTech Mobility Team participated in the National Association of Hospital Pharmacy Technicians (NAHPT) Annual Conference 2025, held on 29 March 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Santry, Dublin 9, Ireland. Simon Tee-Carter, a pharmacy technician graduate from TU Dublin, representing the project team, delivered a poster presentation titled "Comparative Analysis of Pharmacy Technician Education Across Europe: Interim Findings from the PharmTech Mobility Project".
The presentation highlighted the team's ongoing research into harmonising pharmacy technician education and training programmes across European borders. This collaborative project, led by TU Dublin’s Pharmacy Technician Studies team in partnership with the European Association of Pharmacy Technicians (EAPT, Belgium) and Formación Profesional Colegio Tres Olivos (Spain), aims to enhance professional mobility and harmonise qualifications for pharmacy technicians in Europe. The interim findings presented at the conference mark a significant step forward in addressing variations in education and training standards, with the ultimate goal of improving workforce flexibility and patient care across the continent.
